I have shared so much about value. Learning about value has been a life long lesson! Lots of things begin to happen when your eyes are opened to value. You realize that you actually matter in the equation. You realize that you were created with purpose. You realize that God has a plan and you're a part of it. He put something very special inside of you. Something he intends to use. The more you embrace him inside of you the more you become a blessing to others.
Something very magical begins to happens when value is awakened inside of you. Magic happens when you realize your worth is not in the mouths of others. Your worth is not in the mind of others. Detach from all of that. What others think and say about you is actually between them and God. It's none of your business really. Others see you through their own brokenness. What and how others see you is not about you at all. Your job is to stay focused on God. Look to him and let him lead you on handling toxic situations with broken people.
Hurting people hurt other people. We have all done it without meaning to. Some do it intentionally as it brings them a false sense of power. How sad for them.
God commands us to walk in love and trust me when I say this can be a painful process in learning HOW. The first step in walking in love requires taking a raw look in the mirror for starters.
Recently it was brought to my own awareness that when I isolate at times or don't have the energy to deal with people. When I have found people to be exhausting it's because I didnt show up for myself. I always felt a burden to others and unworthy of taking up any space. I told God the day he showed me this that I desired change. I told myself how sorry I was and that I had deserved so much better. From now on I will show up for me, love me and deal with me. In doing these things we learn GRACE.
